Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21 1956) is a Canadian-born British actress popular for her part in the role of Samantha Jones in the HBO show Sex and the City for which she earned five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. Samantha Jones reprised her role in the films Sex and the City (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2010). Her main roles include Police Academy, Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 80s. Kim Cattrall's appearance on the HBO television sitcom Sex & the City is one of the most memorable. An acclaimed actress, Cattrall's performance as Samantha Jones has been a important moment for her career. The sitcom didn't just boost her popularity with the nation's public, but also made her an international celebrity, bringing the actress a lot of fame and respect. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most famous role is on the comedy/drama movie La Dolce Vita. The film received an Oscar and an award called the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival in 1960 and was also a commercial and critically acclaimed success. The actress was born in Skane, Sweden and had a modeling career before she embarked on her acting career. She was eventually crowned the Miss Sweden contest. Following her move to US she acted in various films, acting in minor role. In the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars she was described as the role of a Venusian. Following that she starred for the role of a bloody squire in Blood Alley she was awarded the Golden Globe in the most promising category for newcomers.
